Bookings & payments
A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing. Prices, dates, and what’s included are set out at the time of booking. Any deposit and payment terms are shared in writing before you commit.
Cancellations & changes
If you need to cancel or change a trip, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. Trip-specific cancellation terms are provided in writing before your booking is confirmed. We may cancel or reschedule for safety, weather, or circumstances beyond our control, and will work with you on a reschedule or refund where appropriate.
Assumption of risk
Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. You are responsible for representing your fitness and experience accurately and for following your guide’s instructions. A separate waiver may be required before some trips.
Conduct
We ask that you respect your guides, fellow guests, private property, wildlife, and the land. We reserve the right to end a trip, without refund, for behaviour that is unsafe or seriously disruptive.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blackwater Ridge is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or participation in a trip, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Intellectual property
The content on this site — text, images, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reused without permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here is the one that applies. Material changes will be reflected by the date below.
